Speaker Guidelines

01

Pre-Conference (Before July 25, 2026)

  • Submit final presentation slides (PowerPoint, 16:9 format) by July 25, 2026.

  • Provide biography (100 words) & high-resolution photo by July 10, 2026.

  • Confirm travel & accommodation with organisers by July 20, 2026.

  • Remote speakers must complete a tech check at least 1 week before the event.

On-Site (August 11–12, 2026)

  • Arrive 45 minutes before your session and report to the Speaker Green Room.

  • Upload your slides & test with the AV team.

  • Session Timings:

    • Keynote: 25–30 minutes (incl. Q&A)

    • Panel contribution: 8–10 minutes per speaker

  • Use official event laptop & clicker provided.

  • Carry a USB backup of your slides.

  • Dress Code: Business Formal / Defence Uniform.

Presentation Content

  • Focus on Future Defence themes: AI, Cybersecurity, Aerospace, Drones, Robotics, Space & ISR.

  • Avoid sales pitches; share insights, strategies & innovations.

  • Ensure visuals are royalty-free/licensed.

  • Classified or sensitive content must have clearance at least 30 days before.

Branding & AV Support

  • • Use official event template.
    • Minimum font size: 24 pt, use high-resolution images.
    • AV Hotline: +44-3308221359 (available on-site).

Post-Conference

  • Recordings available to speakers by August 20, 2026.

  • Speakers will receive a Certificate & Thank-You Letter.

  • Extended papers can be submitted for the Post-Conference Report by September 1, 2026.

  • Networking Directory access will be shared with speakers & delegates.

Can I present remotely?

Yes, with stable internet & prior AV test.

Can I distribute promotional brochures?

Yes, with prior approval. Submit by July 31, 2026.

What benefits do I get as a speaker?

Complimentary Speaker Badge, full access to sessions, exhibition, networking lounge & recognition in programme.

Will my talk be recorded?

Yes. Recordings will be made available to registered delegates (opt-out option available).

What if I exceed my time?

Moderators will signal you; if exceeded, mic/slides may be cut to maintain schedule.

Dress Code?
